The tier list explained

Why each upgrade sits where it does.

S tier: mandatory from the start

Carry Capacity earns its S slot because +3 held items shows up immediately and does not fade in value as you improve. Every trip for the rest of a shift benefits from it. No other single upgrade comes close in the early game.

A tier: high value, not unconditional

Move Speed and Auto-Sort are A tier. Speed cuts the time crossing long lanes, and Auto-Sort speeds up placing obvious items. Both are strong, but their value only appears once your carry is already up and you know where items go.

B tier: situational but real

Shelf Sense is B because it helps most right when a new section unlocks and item names are unfamiliar. Section Unlocks is B because bigger sections earn more, but only after the basics make your current aisles efficient.

C tier: eventually yes, early no

Cleanup Burst clears small scatter clusters near your cart. It is a useful end-of-round tool, but it costs more than it saves in your first shifts. C tier means buy it after the rest, not instead of them.

How We Verified

The aisle map on this site is built from the in-game sorting layout: ten aisles, A1 Fresh Produce through A10 Pantry / Canned, each with its own shelf color cue. The Item Locator matches a grocery item to its aisle so you can sort it without guessing.

Before publishing an aisle or item mapping, we compare the item name, the aisle label, and the shelf color in a live Clean the Supermarket server. Codes are rechecked daily because Roblox games can patch reward systems without notice.

Frequently asked questions

What is S tier in the Clean the Supermarket tier list?

Carry Capacity. It gives the highest value of any single upgrade because holding more grocery items improves every trip for the rest of the shift.

Why is Cleanup Burst C tier?

Cleanup Burst clears small scatter clusters near your cart. It is genuinely handy at the end of a messy round, but it never belongs ahead of carry, speed, or auto-sort.

Is Shelf Sense worth buying?

Yes, situationally. Shelf Sense highlights likely nearby shelf matches, which helps most right when a new section unlocks and item names are still unfamiliar.

Does this tier list apply to solo runs?

Mostly yes. Carry Capacity stays S regardless of group size, and Move Speed and Auto-Sort keep their slots whether you play solo or in a four-player shift.
